Semi-Permanent Makeup Procedure
1. Consultation
Before any treatment can be done, it’s important to have a consultation with me (on a phone or eye-to-eye) so that we can discuss what’s involves and what you looking to achieve. I offer free no-obligation consultations.
2. Analysis
I’ll perform a full skin tone analysis to determine what pigments to use to achieve your desired look, taking your hair colour into consideration.
3. Preparation
I’ll use a guide colour pencil to draw on the shape of your new brows, lip line or eyeliner, using calipers to perfect your measurements. You’ll be able to confirm that the shape and style is correct before I proceed. A topical anaesthetic is then applied to treated area, to minimise any discomfort.
4. The Procedure
The procedure takes between 60-90 minutes. You may feel a little scratchy sensation but this will be short lived as the anaesthetic starts to do its job. I will then check your brows, eyes or lips for any final adjustments. After care is then applied.
5. Top Up
You will need to have a top up appointment to check the shape and colour of the healed area and take care of any adjustments. This takes place only when the skin has healed: usually 4-5 weeks from the initial procedure.
6. Maintenance
Semi-permanent makeup does fade over time and exposure to sun and skin tone are contributing factors as to when you’ll require a colour boost. I would recommend booking a consultation with me 12-18 months from your completed procedure.
